Nitin Neera Chandra, Founder, Bejod, began his career as an Assistant Director. He established his own production house in 2008 called Champaran Talkies, with an office in Mumbai. His first documentary ‘Bring Back Bihar – Moment of Awakening’ was screened in various places in India and abroad.
He is an IT graduate from Delhi and he completed his Masters in Film Production from the University of Pune, Department of Communication Studies.
He directed ‘Deswa’ in 2012 which was the first Bhojpuri film from Bihar to be selected in the Indian Panorama section of the International Film Festival of India.
It was also selected at national and international film festivals such as the International Film Festival of South Asia, the Asian Film Festival, Goa, the Habitat World Film Festival, New Delhi, Film Festival at IIM – Ahmedabad, and Montage Film Festival.
Chandra started his own OTT platform with content in the languages of Bihar.
