Jimmy Tangree, Head, Friends FM, has over two and a half decades of experience in the Radio industry and has been a DJ, MC and Voice-over since 1983.

He has not only become the face of FM Radio in Kolkata but is also the biggest mascot in the domain of radio in Eastern India.

He has a wide range of experience from being an RJ to handling operations, to setting up radio stations across the country and abroad, as well as strategizing and implementation of content and brand connect.

In June 2000, Tangree joined Saregama Broadcast as the Country Head and in May 2002, he became the Station Head of Red FM.

In April 2014, he took charge of Friends FM and under Tangree’s inspirational leadership, the channel witnessed significant changes and is presently running as one of the most innovative and popular FM stations in the City of Joy.
