Moumita De Das is an Assistant Professor at the School of Media and Communication, Adamas University. She has 8 years of journalistic experience with national publications such as the Hindustan Times, The Times of India, EFY News Network and The Exhibit.

She has also worked as a Media Faculty for 8 years in both part-time and full-time capacities with Techno India Group, iLead and NSHM. Das was also an Editorial Consultant of IJM Kolkata.

She has a BA, MA and MPhil in International Relations from Jadavpur University, as well as a PGD in Journalism from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.

Das is an interdisciplinary teacher who teaches both at the UG & PG levels in the Department of Journalism, School of Media and Communication; the Department of Law & Justice.

Das was also earlier associated with the Department of Political Science & International Relations, School of Liberal Arts & Cultural Studies.
