Rabindra Narayan, Managing Director & President, PTC Network is renowned for his relentless efforts in shaping the Punjabi television industry.
He is not only recognised as the man behind the first-ever Punjabi satellite channel, Punjabi World but has also earned immense respect for putting Gurbani on the World’s television map.
Narayan studied English Literature from Delhi University and attained a Diploma in Journalism and Marketing. As General Secretary with the Delhi-based Collegiate Drama Society, he made significant contributions to the field of Punjabi theatre.
Narayan is also a renowned journalist and held significant positions with the Sunday Mail and The Weekly Sun. He was also an avid film and music critic and has directed many highly specialised documentaries to his credit.
He was bestowed the ‘Delhi State Punjabi Media Award’ in 2003 by the Delhi Government and the Jewel of Punjab Honour from former Prime Minister of India, Manmohan Singh.
