SMX CSR Leadership Summit & Awards 3.0
This year is momentous for India. While we celebrate 75 years of our freedom (from exploitation of us, our people, our resources), we have also assumed presidency of the G20 forum, and at the centre of these celebrations are talks, dialogues and conversations where sustainable development, socioeconomic growth and climate change are increasingly getting greater attention. This year is also quite significant for individuals in the development sector, especially for corporate social responsibility (CSR) professionals – whose numbers have nearly quadrupled in the last decade – as they are celebrating 10 years of mandated CSR in the country. Their work continues to complement the larger goals of the government as well as Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations.
